Default StarVim Teams popping up now

Not sure if I'm just out of the loop but I ran into 3 Starburst teams with 4 ViM trappers this weekend. The teams were made up of 2 Starburst and 4 ViM Trappers. I was in 2 balanced and 1 VimWay team at the time and found it exremely difficult to stop them. I'm not very experienced in HA with only R2 but have never had such a hard time stopping a build till I ran into them. Any ideas?

The same as usual. Dont ball up and kite. Wand the trappers, and focus on killing the eles who will try to overexted to hit you with starburst. IMO the build you've described is even worse than the usual vimway...

thx Nurse...we didn't ball up and tried to wait them out but somebody from our team would get impatient and rush =(. tough to get a good team when your only r2 =(.

My friend ran an E/W starburster with ViM when HA was still 8v8 - worked suprisingly well.

But starbursters are just way too easy to kill nowadays.

I knew a friend of a friend who did that, but added Cripshot and Poison Arrow to fuel his ViM. That with Sig of Midnight and Plague Signet he was nigh unstoppable. On altar maps he would just Charge! the ghostly to cap first and SB him as soon as he got there. I think he solo held for like 4 hours during one of the beta weekends.

He also had a Glyph of Renewal/Oathshot build that totally owned.

EDIT:

As in, it was a Starburster but without starburst, so just a close combat fire-ele I suppose you would call it, and with ViM on his bar which is great energy management.

If it doesn't have starburst, it ceases to be a starburster. IT's like calling a ranger without traps a trapper.

I had the greatest idea last night when it comes to avoiding starburst. I call it "moving".

I heard that if you ball up, you become invincable to fire damage.

I also heard that vim starbursts are becoming the meta
